Nigel Malone, also known as NXGXL, is a multi-talented artist, producer, and audio engineer. He is the founder of Colorful Noise, a music production company established in 2020. Nigel began building his reputation in the Charlotte music scene during his years at Mallard Creek High School, performing at notable venues such as the Fillmore and the AMCS Bodega.
Driven to expand his musical knowledge, he attended SAE, a professional audio engineering school in Atlanta, where he gained hands-on experience working in major studios alongside established industry professionals. In 2019, Nigel returned to Charlotte and is currently hosting an introduction to audio engineering masterclass for middle school students at Wilson STEM Academy. Through his expertise in music production and audio engineering, Nigel continues to make a meaningful impact on the growing music scene of the Queen City.
