This summer, Colorful Noise is proud to present its immersive Masterclass Summer Camp in collaboration with Johnson C. Smith University, Professor Tyler Bunzey, and the university’s Cultural Studies program. Building on the success of previous masterclass programs at the Harvey B. Gantt Center’s MODA (Mecca of Digital Arts), this camp continues the mission of making digital arts, audio engineering, and music production more accessible to youth in Charlotte.

About the Program:
The Colorful Noise Summer Camp offers students hands-on, in-depth experience with industry-standard music production software and recording techniques. Tailored for middle and high school students (ages 11–16), the camp explores creative expression through beat-making, recording, and mixing, while also connecting students with the cultural history of Black music and digital media.
